Spring has come early for the Alpharetta real estate market. Over 100 single family homes sold in March and an incredible 263 Alpharetta homes are currently under contract. The average home sales price was $377,000 (down from the previous month) and homes were selling at 96% of the listing price. Alpharetta real estate is also selling a bit faster than usual at 73 days, on average. For those Alpharetta homes that were priced at fair market value when initially listed, 42.2% of all the homes sold in 2 weeks or less.
If you are thinking of selling your home in Alpharetta, we highly recommend that you interview at least two real estate agents to ensure that your home is priced – and marketed — well. It is amazing to see the homes selling for top dollar in the first weekend, when there is a solid home marketing plan in place. 27.5% homes in Alpharetta sold at or OVER the listing price last month!
