Atlanta’s Virginia Highland neighborhood had another strong Spring selling season and we have some impressive real estate stats to report in this issue of the VAHI Market Report…
- The average single family home sales price in Virginia Highland is right on par with the same time last year ($714K vs $723K in 2Q 2014), but the most amazing statistic is the average single family home sales price is up over $190,000 from the bottom of the market in 2Q 2009.
- Homes sold in an average of just 33 days last quarter — that’s the best we’ve seen in 7+ years! 38% sold for 100% (or more) of the asking price.
- There were fewer homes on the market this Spring season (only 21 sold vs 51 last year), so with the low inventory it’s easy to see why the best homes in Virginia Highlands were selling quickly. 42% of the homes sold in less than 2 weeks.
